Built in 1933 as the residence of Prince Asaka, this stunning Art Deco mansion became Tokyo’s most architecturally unique museum. The building itself, featuring original glass work by René Lalique and period furnishings, is as much a highlight as the exhibitions it hosts.
Set within a beautiful garden with a teahouse, the museum offers a rare chance to experience early 20th-century decorative arts in an authentic historic setting.
